Description / Application
Methyl ethyl ketoxime is used as urethane blocking agent; it
blocks urethane in coating applications which include power
coatings, automotive coatings, coatings on plastic, textile, and
general industrial metals. It is used as anti-skinning agent in
paints and is used in water treatment. It is also used to produce
oxime derivatives for other industrial applications. It is also a
useful intermediates for the preparation of O-alkyd and O-acyl
oximes, nitrones, amides, carbamates, O-silyl compounds and
heterocyclic systems.
