With products sourcing globally, Dovechem imports various chemical solvents from overseas. These products reach Dovechem via sea vessels. To facilitate the need of product storage and transmission, which the materials will either be sent for manufacturing or distributing, Dovechem invested in bulking terminal business by building tank farms, jetty, pipelines, etc to carry out the terminal operations from the point of vessel arrived until products are stored in the tanks.
Today, with skilled and experienced terminal operators, continuous improvements in terminal process, Dovechem's Bulking Terminal Division not only handle company's own imported bulk chemical, it also provide services by leasing tanks to companies which need space to store their liquid products, ranging from raw materials to finish goods. In Malaysia, Dovechem is the pioneer in Bulking Terminal business and is the only company that provides Tank Cleaning Services at the East Coast.

ROAD/ ISO TANK CLEANING STATION

A set of cleaning methods is synchronized and applied to both road tanker and iso-tank in accordance with the last product it carries. There are 4 cleaning bays available for road tanker cleaning operation. Using the cleaning system supplied by Weidner from Germany further enhances the effectiveness of cleaning methods. Cleanliness Certified Bodies such as Saybolt, SGS, ITC and etc are readily available to complement the cleaning service.
Some of the minor repairs provided are replacement of manlid seals and gaskets, vacuum test for Footvalve, etc. Whereas, major repairs such as tank welding and so forth are also offered. Other services includes sandblasting, paintwork and structural repair such as tank barrel and frameworks. Tank cleaning station also provide services such as road tanker/ISO tank nitorgen purging and blanketing, residual disposal, product transfer, product heating, ISO tank storage, ISO tank statutory test. We also provide offsite service within a reasonable range based on customer's urgent need. |
